Registering for Courses

Registering for Courses

Students register for courses during assigned registration periods that are announced by the Office of the Registrar in consultation with the academic leadership of the university. Before the registration period starts, the Office of the Registrar publishes the schedule of classes for the upcoming term, complete with delivery mode, room numbers, class times, and start and end dates.

As a general rule, students register through the AUA Jenzabar Sonis portal.

         How to Register:

  1. Log on to AUA Jenzabar Sonis
  2. Select the “Student” portal
  3. On the left side menu, choose Academics
  4. Choose Registration
  5. Find the course you want to register for. There are three ways:
  6. a) type a word from the course title or the first letters of the subject code

b) Click on the first letter of the course title

c) Load all courses (slowest)

7. Click on the course you have selected and follow through the registration process.

If you change your mind after selecting a class, click on the code of the course and confirm that you want to un-enroll.

The system will allow students to register only for courses within their program and  level  and only for a defined number of credits.
